About The Artist

Barbara Forrest - Forrest GalleryArtist Barbara Forrest has been sketching and painting landscapes since childhood. She particularly enjoys the vastness of the American west: mountains, rivers, high deserts, and forests. Her goal is to connect people and nature in a way that speaks to them personally, and to convey her passion for the natural world.

Born and raised in the St. Louis area, she lived in Texas, Canada, Oregon and Colorado before finding her way back to her birthplace.

Her work is now represented in galleries and shops throughout Oregon, Arizona, Colorado and Hawaii. She lives and works in St. Louis and at a cabin in the Colorado Rockies.
